Today’s the day!! Cottage Kitchen Studio is opening its doors early for you to call first dibs on all the gorgeous ware inside! As you will know from my first announcing the coming of this shop, Cottage Kitchen Studio is my bid to help us all slow down, savour the moment and rekindle the joy of furnishing a home with objects made by another person, with a name, a story, a passion.

Everything you will find on Cottage Kitchen Studio is handmade in small batches by artisans scattered across Canada and the US that I have come to know and love. 

Here pictured the picnic basket, the ceramic mixing bowl and the copper tea kettle.

Getting up at dawn to whip up a fresh batch of muffins for breakfast feels so much more special when you have in hand a good, sturdy, handmade ceramic bowl you know will last you a lifetime and more. Packing a picnic feels so much more of  an adventure when carried in a gorgeous handwoven basket.
